Above is an excerpt from  'J'ai avalé un arc en ciel'  - 'I swallowed a rainbow' - a book written by Erwan Ji (my friend and high school french teacher) which I am featured in.
he writes,

" Before, I thought that an artist was someone who could draw, paint, or carve. I understood by observing Haley what a true artist is. A kind of sensitive engineer, romantic inventor, modern creator, who takes bits of bridges in ruins to make rainbows."

The Pen Clique is my art experiment.  Its title comes from an amazing day with two of my friends, Eileen Lu and Patty Wong.

I'm an artist based in Brooklyn.  I like dance, light, music, sustainable fashion, hydroponic farming, writing scary / mystical adventure stories, illustrating children's books & collecting glass bottles.
